Shifting a mindset focused on “working more hours” to an investment approach that generates passive income was a challenge. To overcome it, Comunidad REI implemented accessible content and success stories that legitimized the idea that real estate investing is not exclusively for big-time investors but is within reach of those who have the proper preparation, dedication, and guidance.

Advice for New Entrepreneurs  

For Daniel, there is no secret shortcut or magic formula to generate passive income overnight; the commitment lies in investing time and resources in oneself. Likewise, he stresses the importance of taking action and understanding that failure is part of the learning process.  

People ask me how to make money while they sleep (and most don’t know how to make money while awake)… be consistent in investing in yourselves,” Daniel points out.

Looking ahead, Daniel envisions ambitious growth for the community. It’s not just about increasing the number of participants, but about reinforcing Comunidad REI’s relevance as a reference point for Latino investors in the United States. 

To that end, new programs, in-person bootcamps, webinars, and the development of a platform that directly connects investors with purchasing and financing opportunities are planned.  

We’re going to expand our offering of programs, bootcamps, and webinars… our goal is to reach more than 10,000 active Latino investors in the next four years,” Daniel states with determination.

Part of Comunidad REI’s growth strategy involves creating new educational products that allow community members to advance through different stages of real estate investment. 

Daniel recognizes that not all investors are at the same level: some need fundamentals, while others already own properties and seek to optimize returns. Hence, one of the brand’s pillars is designing personalized roadmaps for different levels without losing sight of the cultural and linguistic integration that has proven so effective.  

We want to consolidate a technology platform that makes it easier to access investment opportunities, property analyses, and financing tools,” Daniel says enthusiastically about short- and medium-term plans.

This has to be a collective effort. Doing it alone would be too hard, which is why I appreciate the team I have and the people who come to contribute and be part of the process,” Daniel affirms.
