The president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, will meet with his US counterpart, Joe Biden, in Washington on February 10, announced the White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, this Tuesday.
“During their meeting at the White House, the two presidents will discuss America’s unwavering support for Brazil’s democracy, and how the two countries can continue to work together to promote inclusion and democratic values in the region and around the world. especially before the March 2023 Democracy Summit,” Jean-Pierre wrote.
“The leaders will also discuss how the United States and Brazil can continue to work together to address common challenges, including fighting climate change, ensuring food security, fostering economic development, strengthening peace and security, and regional migration management”, he added.
